Main objective of CTCP- Centre for Training and Career planning of our college is to create awareness among the students about the various competitive exams conducted by Government and Public Sector Undertakings for acquiring jobs. It also gives the career guidance and conduct training programmes to the final year students. CTCP also conduct competitions to bring out the inner talents of students.
Awareness Programme & Competitions:
To bring out the talents of our students CTCP conducted UDHAYA – Urumu Dhanalakshmi Youth Awards a power point presentation contest from 08.08.2018 to 13.08.2018. Two students from each department were awarded with a silver coin and over-all top two students were awarded gold coins each. Dr.Sesahadri, Dean, SASTRA distributed the prizes.
Programme to create awareness about TNPSC Examinations : Mr.Kalaiyarasan, Junior employment officer, Tanjore on 6.10.2017.
Mr.Prasanna of RACE IAS Academy gave examination tips for the students who applied for Group-IV Examination. Around 200 students of our college attended.
Dr.Ragini, Asst. Professor, Bishop heber college was the resource person for the awareness programme about TNPSC Group-IV condcucted on 22.7.2019.
To bring out the presentation and communication skills of our college students, Centre for Training and Career Planning (CTCP) of our College conducted an Intercollegiate Competition on 10.02.2020 leading to UDHAYA Youth Awards. Teams from 14 colleges participated in the Competition. Our college Chemistry team won the gold coins and BCA Team won the Silver coins along with Shields. The Competitions were inaugurated by Dr.N.Seshadri, former principal of National College. College President Smt.Padma Ramakrishnan and Rotarian Er.S.Appavuraj, Past president Rotary club of Tiruchirappalli distributed the prizes.

For IBPS Exam training, apart from Internal resource persons, Ms.Roopkala & Mr.Krishnamoorthy from TIME Institute took classes.
Support from the Management
The Management provides refreshments to the students at free of cost.
Our college Secretary motivated the students on 9.10.2018, by donating an executive bag with stationery kit to all the students who have attended the training programme.
