Natural Science was started in 1970 for Pre University Classes (PUC) in 1977 Botany was an ancillary subject to Major Chemistry Students. The aim of this course is to develop holistic knowledge of plants through the study of the diversity of plants. The programme will equip the students with skills required for higher studies and jobs in Forestry, Horticulture, Genetics, Mushroom technology Nursery Development, Landscpes, Architecture and Biotechnology.
